Big Relief for Registrations Granted under Rule 14A
A much-needed compliance window has been opened for taxpayers whose GST registration was granted under Rule 14A. Such taxpayers can now:
🔹 Withdraw the existing registration
🔹 Regularise their GSTIN by filing FORM GST REG-32
Why does this matter?
This move allows businesses to:
- Shift to a proper and clean registration framework
- Correct procedural irregularities at the initial stage
- Avoid future litigation and compliance hurdles
- Ensure seamless return filing and ITC flow
For many taxpayers, Rule 14A registrations created practical difficulties in day-to-day compliance. This option provides a structured way to reset and move forward.
