The Income Tax Department has introduced a new tab on the e-filing portal for accessing the Annual Information Statement (“AIS”).

Now, taxpayers have two options to view the AIS:

• Through the dedicated tab ‘AIS’
• Through e-File > Income Tax Returns > View AIS
